A Note...

To parents... I am very aware that we live in a great "safe" neighborhood. So when you bus or drive your children into my neighborhood, please remember your manners!

I went through 300 pieces of candy in a ten minute time span. Not ONE "please", or "thank you", just grab, grab, grab. And then the little brats stole my decorations!! I swear, next year I am attaching an electrical current to everything, so if you try to steal it, ZAP!

Wow. That is awful. I was shocked that my own neighborhood children forgot their thank yous... I think they were so excited & in a hurry! So, I stopped my children & told them there is "Halloween etiquette"!! Last year someone stole the bowl when I was nice enough to leave a bowl of candy out because we weren't home.

That is terrible! We bought candy for kids and we did not have a single one at our house which totally disappointed me!

And thanks for the compliment on our costumes!

So tacky. I have been very surprised at how many of the little children remember to say thank you when Trick or Treating at our house. We weren't home with our girls this year, but I'll have to see what happens next year. It's usually the older kids who grab and run....

Aww, we didn't have that many trick or treaters--we bought a TON of candy. :( But, I did get the kids who told me "um, I don't really like that candy". Well, gee!
