Kyle

I was researching booster seats for the twins when I came across this video. I had seen this before, but had not remembered. Thank goodness. I could have put their lives in danger.

That video gave me chills! We were just talking about buying a booster for Maddie so that her little brother could move into the Britax when he outgrows his infant seat - now I think we'll skip the booster. Thanks!

wow! what a sad video. i never knew that seatbelts came unlatched so frequently. i don't have any children, so i am not in the market for carseats but this has me wondering, if seatbelts come unlatched that frequently, are there additional precautions that adults should take as well? i don't mean to sound like a dummy, because i know there isn't a grown-up version of a carseat, but now i am totally freaked out that MY seatbelt will unlatch!

I saw that video a few years ago and I have to say, I feel awful for that family and obviously it's tragic what happened to their son. But if he had been 9 years old and too big for a booster, he still would have probably been killed if his seat belt didn't work. It's the seat belt that failed, not his booster.

Heartbreaking... I am nowhere near mommy-life (*knocks on wood*), but thanks to you... that will stick with me clear through the days of Grandmother-dom.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting. Both of my children are under 80 pounds and ride in typical boosters. We had Britax seats when the kids were younger, but I'll have to look into the Regent.
