Ladybugs

When I was in the hospital with the twins, everyday was a struggle. Just keeping them in my belly to "cook" was a feat.

One day, when they did a sonogram on my belly, I was told baby A may have some mental retardation due to the lack of nutrients she was receiving. So, they wheel me up to my room and I am pretty upset. Then to make matters worse, they are putting up the nativity scene outside my hospital room. Then it starts raining/sleeting . I mean really are you kidding me? Then the funniest thing happened. I am bawling and very upset when I look out the window. There is a little red speck, then another, and another. I go over and look...ladybugs. Lots and lots of ladybugs! In the middle of winter! From then on, whenever there was a problem I would see ladybugs on the windowsill. Of my bedroom at the hospital, and later outside the window of the NI CU.

God really does work in mysterious ways.
