and looked VERY serious. "Mama, I don't want to wear bows in my hair anymore". After I picked myself off the floor, she got a devilish grin and... " Just jokin' Mama...I would wook soooo silwy without any more bows... How would I get coorwdinated?" She said as she rolls her eyes to the sky and shrugs her shoulders.

priceless. :-)
If Pinkie said this to me I think my heart would have stopped beating!
OMG that was darling!
I had so much fun dressing up my only daughter when she was young(she turns 19 in 10 days). Lots of bows, smocking, hair "done" everyday and I even iron/starched the bow on the back of her Osh Kosh overalls. She went through a period in her teens where she wouldn't touch pink, preferred black instead. (I, uncharacteristically (sp???) kept my mouth shut). Today, I'm happy to report that she is a dress- loving, dressing up in pink with heels, lovely young woman.
