Good idea?

The pattern mentioned that is now ruined.

So, some of my Ralph Lauren bedding has some permanent damage thanks to the storms. Would it be crazy to chop up my now ruined Egyptian cotton duvet cover? I want to slipcover my outdoor cushions. And this area does not ever get wet or sun. Thoughts? My wicker furniture is tan.

I think it would be great to reuse the duvet cover. I think that fabric will look great with tan.

I think that's a great idea... very resourceful of you!

Better than tossing it out or letting it sit in a closet.

Sounds like a great idea to me. Go for it. It sounds like a nice touch to the outdoor furniture.

I agree, sounds like a lovely way to recycle! And you can't go wrong with Ralph Lauren on wicker furniture. It will elevate the look ...

I use my old ones as beach blankets. Have a fabulous weekend!

I say go for it! The colors will work wonderfully with the tan wicker and since you have no other use of this what do you have to lose?!

Great idea! Only one suggestion - Scotchguard, just in case.

Do it!

P.S. FYI - Marshalls @ Marsh & Forest had a lot of Lilly tunics for girls for $29. A really pretty pattern too. Also, Marshalls at Preston Center had the cutest madras dress in the various blue tone colors for $12.99. I love it! They had up to 5T (wasn't sure what size T wears)..
